Is the desktop app really free?+
Yes. The full desktop client is free and source-available. Use your own Claude credentials; your AI provider’s usage charges still apply. Team governance is the paid layer.
Does my source code pass through Bellows?+
Your sessions run locally against your own Claude credentials. The control plane receives usage and sanitised audit metadata, not your source files or full session transcripts.
What counts as a seat?+
A person in your organisation. Their laptop and desktop belong to the same seat. Start with one person and grow from there.
Can I take my audit history with me?+
Yes. The team plan includes 90 days of audit history, with CSV and JSONL exports for your own archive or reporting tools.
What is available today?+
The desktop client, machine pairing, team policies, usage reporting, audit ingestion, tasks and team rooms are implemented. Self-serve billing is being prepared. SSO and SCIM are planned.
